Ruffled Feathers

I went to a local yahoo group meeting and driving there (which took two times as long as it should have because of stupid drivers) I had a crow land right on my car! Only briefly (we were stopped for about 20 minutes) but the whole meeting I had this piece stewing in my brain. I needed a sample for my class on fabric fusing and burning, and this is it.

After explaining your story it seems to me like you hit your mark right on. This is a really nice piece and I'm so glad you photographed it outside. Perfect!

This is an amazing piece! I wish I had the fabric magic touch like you do! Beautiful work!

Wow, Kim that is truly beautiful. Crows are among my favourite birds, they are sooo spritual.

Thank you for visiting Merlin's blog. I've actually been a little low lately, which is why I've not been posting. I'm going to close Merlin's blog, as it's all a bit upsetting and we've decided to have him gelded. Our breeding program is not going to be supported by the Eriskay Society, which makes all our efforts pointless. It's very political!

I'll be starting a new blog soon, concentrating on both ponies, so long as Merlin can be calmed down, finger crossed (ouch!) :)

So amazing where inspiration comes from, isn't it! I bet you couldn't wait to get home after that experience. I find the best light being natural light, and see that it works beautifully for you and your artwork as well :)
