A Little Green...
This was a fun little piece, using two things I haven't used alot...copper mesh and a tiny canvas. I used Bo Nash powdered adhesive to add gold foil and added the word "love" to the left of the canvas. I had two little pieces of beaded home decorating trim from a vendor's outdated book. I love that I could use a throw-away item in my art! Check out this month's Quilting Arts magazine, they have an article on green art!

Hello,
This reminds me of something you could find in one of the great nature journals of the Victorian Era. Beautiful.

Thank you for visiting, Kim, and for your sweet comment.
Thank you so much for voting, Kim!!! I appreciate your vote and sweet words, too. I love this piece. What a great idea to use the beaded trim. I love all the different trims like this. It adds a lot of dimension to your piece, too. Do you shop at Hobby Lobby, by chance? They have a fantastic selection and great sales, too!! Thank you again, xxoo, Dawn
