The two blondes are my friend Lynette and her granddaughter Rachel who came along to help and sell her beautiful embroideries. Rachel made lovely bracelets too! At least I had a great time hanging with Lynette all day, she is a dear friend and talented enough for two! And when my things blew over in the wind, it wasn't the disaster the dozens of tiny earrings were next to me! Like I said, I sure learned alot! But I sure hate posed pictures!

Sorry to hear that things didn't go better. Is the down-turn in the economy to blame--or do we know?
I have always enjoyed attending craft shows and feel that most of the items are lovely and well worth their price tag, but have to admit that my budget through the years usualy didn't allow for purchasing much.
I've sat on the other side of the display table a few times as well--and been disappointed.
Here's hoping the holdiay season will bring more buyers.
I've been wondering if I'm going to have the same experience. I saw that the high school has their craft fair scheduled for the same weekend as my first craft show. I'm sorry cuz your critters are way cute.
Oh Sharon, hope yours is way better. My next is in November, mayber it will be better too!
I worked the art faire circuit for a year in 2009, but as a food vendor. Some shows are really good others, not so much it really all depends on the advertising and the promotors. Good Luck on the next show I hope you sell out.
