I can post it, I can post it! This is my quilt for the Beatles Challenge. A group of 150 quilts were submitted, and will be displayed at several venues over the next year, beginning with the Houston International Quilt Show. This resulted in a book which will come out in September, entitled "Inspired by the Beatles" by Donna DeSoto. I am so excited!
My quilt illustrates the title "Only a Northern Song" , a little known song from the Yellow Submarine album. As soon as I saw the title, I knew the northern lights would somehow have to be there, and that led me naturally enough to a Norwegian fjord with a burning longship. Well, sort of naturally, anyway! I can hardly wait for the book to come out....it has a much better picture!
